Instructor Scholarship Application

Depending on amount of donated scholarship funds, a scholarship may include any or all of the following:

1. Conference registration cost;
2. Hotel costs – depending on the length of the ISC; &/or
3. Travel costs (mileage or airfare, whichever is least).

Excluded costs include meals not provided to all conference attendees.

If adequate funding for all applicants is not available, preference will be given as follows:

1. To those who have not received a scholarship previously;
2. Whether employing institution provides funding (certified by institutional leadership);
3. To first-time attendees in order of farthest distance from host site;
4. Lesser number of years of experience in teaching the process technology curriculum.

Scholarships will be awarded to any one individual for no more than 2 years consecutively and no more than 3 times within any 6-year period.

Individuals may apply for a scholarship to ISC if they meet the following criteria:

1. Applicants who represent a college less than 50 miles from the host site may receive for a “registration only” scholarship;
2. May not have received a scholarship for the previous 2 consecutive years,
3. May not have received more than 3 scholarships over the past 6 years, and
4. May not be a Lifetime Achievement Awardee.

A High School PTEC Instructor may apply for a one-time registration scholarship, or full scholarship, if all other criteria are met.
